A large Georgian/early-Victorian composed amethyst pendant, the oval cut amethyst with domed table facet of approximately 65cts, within a border of twenty pale green/yellow foiled stones, (possibly yellow topaz), above one round-cut amethyst and a pendeloque-cut amethyst removable drop, with unmarked gold mounts, cluster 40 x 36mm, two-stone drop 41mm, 91mm overall, 37.7g.
Loop, pin and pendant fittings are all later additions.
